History of FLC
Franciscan Living Communities (FLC) was established in 1998 to formalize the senior care sponsorship presence of the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio. Originally known as Franciscan Care Centers (FCC), the name was changed in 2008 to better reflect the mission and services provided by member organizations.
Since its inception as a region within Franciscan Services Corporation, Franciscan Living Communities has focused on its mission of providing comprehensive and spiritually enriching senior services through its member organizations. FLC provides consultation, support and oversight to these members.
